Celebrate a birthday or a special occasion with this Geode Cake Design, available in multiple jewel tones to match a birth gemstone, or event theme.
All decorations are edible and hand painted. Please note, the exact colour tones may vary slightly from cake to cake as they are all done by hand.
Each tier is a 4 layer cake with filling and buttercream between cake layers.
All tiers are covered with our Vanilla buttercream to keep the colours as shown in picture. Depending on the flavour your have chosen the inside colour may be different (for example chocolate cakes will be brown and the vanilla berry flavour will have a pink colour buttercream inside).
*Please note, because of the carving in this design, the serving numbers below may not be accurate. Each size will have a few servings less than suggested. (for example, a 6 inch cake may serve 8-10 instead of the usual 10-12)
**2 or 3 tier cakes will have extra decorations. Tiered cakes have dowels and lollipop sticks in the lower tiers to support the weight of tiers above, They need to be removed before serving. They will be easily spotted after cutting Please refer to our cake cutting guide for tips of cutting all cakes.
***Our cakes are nut-free. We use nuts in other products we make. Chances of cross contamination is low, but not zero. Please use caution with severe allergies. For allergy concerns please contact us.
For large orders above $600, you can contact us directly if you wish to pay in two instalments (50% deposit and 50% two weeks prior to your event). To accommodate this request, please email us all the details of the Design you have picked, Size, Flavour and Date we will process your order manually.
Please note, delivery fees collected at checkout are for single tier, single item orders only. Tiered cakes require a skilled cake decorator to accompany the delivery so higher rates apply. We will contact you after your order is placed to send you a separate invoice, but if you have questions before you place your order please send us an email and we will be happy to help.
We make every attempt to accommodate last minute orders. Orders larger than 2 tier require a minimum of 2 weeks notice. If your order is for a cake larger than 2 tiers and it is received less than 2 weeks before your event date, we will contact you to let you know whether we are able to accommodate the order.
Serving sizes are based on a 1x2 inch rectangle piece. Considering the height of each tier, this will offer a decent serving portion.
